The advantages of using TimeToast for this activity.
It makes it so much easier to visualize the whole life of a person in a very organised and simple way. And it lets them use the images to organise their speech.
The steps you followed to set up the activity
I explained students how to use the tool (which is very simple)
Then I explained the activity and they carried it out.
Finally they present it in front of the class and talk about the different parts.
Any problems and how you and the students solved them
My students are adults and they are not very proficient with technology.
The students’ reaction – how did they feel about using TimeToast to complete the task?
They were interested and curious about using a new tool and a little bit afraid at the beginning because they thought it was going to be difficult to use.
At the end they quite liked it because they say it is a very clear way to present a topic and to use it as a guide.
Some things that you would change / improve next time
Instead of doing it with a person I would prepare a story and they would have to create a timeline with the different events that happen during the story.

The tool made students understand that Miguel Angel went through different artistic stages.
The tool made students organise the information nicely.
The tool helped students to deliver a nice a coherent speech, thanks to the images and small sentences that it presents.
